Why Write?

It's therapeutic: Writing thoughts freely helps one discover new perspectives and solutions. It also lessens emotional burdens.

Cultivate ideas: Writing ideas down helps the mind deal with them concretely, thus results in their expansion or elimination--which is somtimes necessary.

Organization: Create lists. Write up a schedule.

Memory: There are so many tasks, big and small, that we have to do every day. Jot them down and you'll be guaranteed not to forget them.

It's an art: Express a unique idea through poetry or tell a story, short or long, real or fictional, funny or dark, or somewhere in between.

Journals

For me, writing started with the journal and then the passion for words and their structure settled in. Here are some journals I recommend. Buying these helps me out!
